The Apple Store continues to offer these three previous-generation factory-refurbished Apple iPod touch MP3 video players at lowest-we've-seen prices following October's price cuts. Google now offers open access to the beta of its newly-released Picasa for Mac for free. That's the best deal we've seen on this photo editing and sharing software.

Today, Apple introduced the Mac Box Set for $169. This software bundle includes the newly updated iLife '09 and iWork '09, as well as Apple Mac OS X 10.5.6 Leopard. That's a savings of $118 off the retail price for these three apps if purchased separately. It's scheduled to ship by the end of January.

Apple's iWork received an update. The new Apple iWork '09 will be available later today for $79 and features updates to Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.
